How to do Plank

  1. 1Begin in a forearm plank position with elbows directly under shoulders and legs extended behind you.
  2. 2Lift your hips so your body forms a straight line from head to heels.
  3. 3Engage your glutes and core muscles to prevent your lower back from sagging.
  4. 4Maintain a neutral neck position by looking at the floor.
  5. 5Breathe steadily throughout the hold, avoiding breath-holding.
