Machine exercise

Hip Adductor (Machine) form, muscles worked, and workout tracking

The hip adductor machine is a seated lower-body accessory movement that targets the inner thigh muscles responsible for drawing the legs toward the body's midline. It is commonly used for hip stability, groin strength, and balanced leg development.

How to do Hip Adductor (Machine)

  1. 1Sit upright on the machine with your back against the pad and knees outside the thigh pads.
  2. 2Set a comfortable starting width that lets you feel a stretch through the inner thighs without forcing the hips.
  3. 3Hold the handles, brace your core, and keep your feet relaxed on the supports.
  4. 4Exhale as you squeeze your thighs inward until the pads come close together.
  5. 5Pause briefly, then inhale as you return under control without letting the weight stack slam.
