How to do Push-Up
- 1Place your hands slightly wider than shoulder-width apart on the floor and extend your legs, forming a straight line from head to heels.
- 2Engage your core and glutes to maintain a neutral spine and prevent your hips from sagging or piking.
- 3Lower your chest toward the floor by bending your elbows at a 45-degree angle, inhaling as you descend.
- 4Stop when your chest is just above the ground or your elbows reach a 90-degree angle.
- 5Press through your palms to return to the starting position, exhaling as you fully extend your arms.
- 6Keep your neck in a neutral position by looking at a point on the floor slightly ahead of your hands.
